August 2017 Employee Spotlight

Nancy Bishop has been at Pinamonti Orthodontics since it opened 17 years ago. She is the Office Manager at Pinamonti Orthodontics who assists patients with financial and insurance consultations, billing, and appointment scheduling. She also manages our marketing and communications.

Her favorite part of working at Pinamonti Orthodontics is watching kid’s confidence blossom as their smile becomes a very important part of who they have become. As for the adults, she loves watching the moment they realize they have reached a lifetime goal of a beautiful smile, which brings them such happiness and confidence - they just beam with excitement!

Outside of the office, Nancy loves to be outside working in the yard or sitting on the deck. Shopping is her therapy and playing bridge is her forever project. A fun fact about Nancy is that she is Dr. Gina’s mother.

When asked what her favorite memory while working at Pinamonti Orthodontics, Nancy said “Gina announced when she was in sixth grade that she was going to be an orthodontist when she grew up. As a mom, I thought she will change her mind twenty times by the time she is in college.” Gina did keep that dream alive and in 1998 she graduated from UMKC Orthodontic Residency program after completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery two years earlier.”
